Traidy is a worship leader and recording artist. Most of his songs began as private prayer, and he holds each one until it leads him into an encounter first. His debut album, I Am Chosen, is the first he has shared, drawn from over 15 years of writing.

“This album wasn’t written in perfect seasons of my life. It was written in the middle of doubt. In the middle of questions. In the middle of praying when I didn’t have the words.

Many of these songs were written over 15 years ago and I’ve kept it between God and I. I’ve been declaring these in seasons when I’m on the mountain and other times when I feel like I’m in a valley. Many of these songs have carried me through various seasons of my faith journey.

These songs are prayers. They’re reminders. They’re declarations.

Nobody could regulate it

Years ago, I sang “Our Love Story” at Victory Ministries International after a week of fasting. The tangible presence of God filled the church and we could not stop, regulate or control how people responded to the presence of God.

We had different waves, a wave of repentance, a wave of joy, a wave of reverence, a wave of gratitude. Some fell to their knees in the car park, weeping and worshipping and were found outside after the service ended.

What inspired the album, I Am CHOSEN?
I wanted to capture the intimate, fiery love between God and His people. This album is a return to the wild, unrestrained devotion we felt when we first met Jesus. I’ve always believed that worship isn’t just music, it’s a conversation with Heaven, a space where God responds to our hearts.
How do you hope listeners will experience it?
I hope they feel stirred, revived, and consumed with love for God. I want it to be an encounter, a moment where hearts lift, chains break, and people are reminded of the passionate, intimate love that first drew them to Jesus.
How does a melody or lyric come to you?
I don’t play instruments or read sheet music. I was often overlooked for worship teams, but I spent time in prayer rooms with intercessors, hidden yet seen by God. My songs come as melodies in my head. I record them on my phone and let scripture and visions complete them. Some have come to me from being in a church service.
Do you write for yourself first, or for listeners?
All my songs begin as personal worship expressions. I won’t release a song unless it leads me into an encounter first. They’re like prophetic declarations, songs birthed in intimacy before being shared with the world.
Which part of making music excites you most?
Being surrounded by others in unity, with one purpose, to give God glory. Those collective moments of reflection and surrender are what excite me most.
How do your life experiences shape your sound?
Each season of my life has revealed God in a different way, Healer, Defender, Father, Shepherd, Lover of our souls, and that shapes how I write and worship.
If your music could say one thing to the world?
That God meets you where you are. My message is simple, come as you are. God is not afraid of your trouble, sin, or questions. His love embraces you into a place of surrender and joy.
How do you keep your own voice when you collaborate?
I prioritise hosting God’s presence over commercial appeal. My focus is always, does this song make room for His glory? That keeps me grounded and authentic.

How do you handle trends and expectations?
This project is self-funded, so my measure of success is not fame, it’s lives being refreshed in hope, joy, and affection toward Christ.

A rainbow, representing God’s covenant, God’s promises, diversity, and the divine beauty of this love.

I move around the room and make instrumental sounds with my voice while composing melodies.
A song you could never share?
Yes. I have many songs that are private whispers of devotion meant only for God. They’re sacred, intimate expressions that belong solely to Him and will never be shared publicly.
