Where it started

A wide view of the church: candles along the gallery rail, a dark banner between the stairs, the congregation seated on both sides, and Traidy Naidoo at the lectern on the right in an orange fringed shirt, hands open as he speaks.

“It taught me early on that God shows up when hearts are surrendered, and it shaped my calling to lead worship and prayer movements.”

Traidy Naidoo

It started small, during second break, just a few boys praying. But what I didn’t expect was how God moved. Boys kept coming back, inviting their friends, and before long, dozens were gathering for revival and intercession.

During my first public ministry at a Grey High School in PE prayer meeting, there was a quiet, timid boy who began to cry, yell out and laugh in worship. It became contagious, soon others were weeping and laughing, completely undone by God’s love.

That God meets you where you are. My message is simple, come as you are. God is not afraid of your trouble, sin, or questions. His love embraces you into a place of surrender and joy.

How the songs come

“My songs come as melodies in my head.”

Traidy Naidoo

I don’t play instruments or read sheet music. I was often overlooked for worship teams, but I spent time in prayer rooms with intercessors, hidden yet seen by God. I record them on my phone and let scripture and visions complete them. Some melodies and lyrics have come to me from being in a church service.

All my songs begin as personal worship expressions. I won’t release a song unless it leads me into an encounter first. They’re like prophetic declarations, songs birthed in intimacy before being shared with the world.

This project is self-funded, so my measure of success is not fame, it’s lives being refreshed in hope, joy, and affection toward Christ.
